The challenge

Dust Devil Outfitters, a crane and goose hunting outfitter in the Texas Panhandle, came to us for an original illustration for their apparel.

What we made

We drew the West Texas Showdown: a sandhill crane and a Canada goose in cowboy hats, back to back with revolvers drawn. It started as a pencil sketch, then we built up the line work, shading and color one bird at a time and finished it with Old West lettering. We printed it on their shirts with DTF.
